This involved amateur cake-makers and professionals coming together to enter the; cupcake, weird but wonderful and classic cake categories.
The entries were just wonderful and all cakes were then auctioned off as part of a big tea party in the afternoon. All in aid of the Marie Curie charity.
I got a chance to look around the centre and all of the wonderful work they do to aid disabled and mentally impaired people's employment and witness the thrill visitors get from caring for and riding the horses. I was really welcomed in.
With a garden centre, small, working farm (with the biggest turkey you've ever seen) and a lovely, kids play area and tea room - its well worth a visit.
